2nd Anniversary

The Boyfriend and The Girlfriend
Today, August 20, is our 2nd year anniversary. It didn’t start out right, though. I was hoping for a big surprise, a planned out day, dinner, the works… I’ve never experienced an anniversary surprise and I did mention to the boyfriend last week about that. I thought it’s a big clue and he can work on that, but … unfortunately, I got nothing.
Of course, I didn’t want to waste the day. We went out and watched Wall-E. The movie was really nice and I can’t believe a robot made me cry. The movie is quite cute and sweet. I recommend it. Before the movie, we just ate Chef ‘de Angelo and ordered the usual, Oven-baked Ziti and pizza. Then we ate at Cerealicious and ordered an Oreo Boat. I didn’t like it much, maybe because I don’t like the cereal used, Koko Crunch. I liked the ice cream and the banana and the chocolate wafer

The day turned out okay, though. During our lunch, we reminisced about our beginnings, how we met and how he wooed me. It’s been a while since we had a conversation like that. It made me remember why we are still together. Sometimes I get tired of feeling, but being with someone who makes me feel all sorts of emotion is better than being numb.
On a sad note, my dog, Booboo, was bitten on the tail by our neighbor’s dog. I had to cut the hair around the wound and put bandage on it. I had to clean it thrice a day. It’s a good thing Booboo doesn’t make it hard for me to clean her wound.

congratulations on the second year.
in a world where sometimes a relationship of several months already seems quite long, it’s cool that you and your guy have lasted.
you need to train him better though… he really should prepare some sort of package for your 3rd year anniversary, but at the same time, that’ll also mean that you need to prepare one too.
am glad that even if he didn’t have something planned, you didn’t let the day go to waste.
the ice cream looked pretty good. :O and having seen wall-e, i know that it’s another great pixar flic.
sorry to hear about your dog.
but again, congratulations on the anniversary.

It’s been that long already? Awww congratulations!
The thing with relationships is that the longer they get, you sometimes tend to forget why you’re together in the first place. It helps to look back every now and then to remind yourself of why you’re together and just to see how far you’ve gone.
