For the past 2 days I am not able to sleep at night. I would go to bed at 6am or 7am because my brother did not do his cross-stitching project. I am so mad at him for not doing his responsibility. All he did during the 2-week school break is play Megaman Zero 4 on his gameboy. I really hate the fact that my mom is making me do it. I sent a text message to my dad and told him that I haven’t slept properly in 2 days because of his son’s project, and he just said sorry for my brother, because it is a girl’s project. Look, I know that cross-stitching is not only for girls. He said he’d talk to my brother today. What I hate the most is the fact that there is no sense of gratitude from my brother. He acts like it is our responsibility to please him, or do things for him. I really wish they would stop treating him as a little child because he’s not. He’s 14 years old! Argh.
[update]I finished cross-stitching! View it?[/update]
School resumes on Monday, but I have not finished doing my clearance. Why? Read the first paragraph again! My classmate sent me a text message and asked if we’d enroll with her on Thursday, like I said, I am not done with my clearance. I’d probably enroll on Friday or Saturday, the latest would be on Monday. I am hoping for a better class schedule. No 7am class, please! I hope the first class would be at 9am or so. It is really hard for me to wake up and stay awake at 7am. My brain does not function well. I know I need to learn to wake up early in the morning because when I start to go to work next year, I will have to endure the pain of the morning rituals. Then again, it is for next year. ;)
I was tagged by Scart again, to post 7 truths about me. The rules are simple:
- Mention the person who tagged you and create a link back to them.
- Pick 10 others you would like to get to know better.
- Let them know you’ve tagged them by leaving a comment on their blog.
- And don’t forget to give them the rules.
7 Truths About Me
- I am have an inability to tolerate boredom. When I have nothing to do, I have to do something, or I will feel like I am losing my mind.
- I have never liked a dog, until now. We’ve always had dogs in the past, but I never really bonded with any of them until I had Booboo.
- Bluntness is next to goodness. Did I just type that? I tend to blurt out things that are currently on my mind, whether it be bad or good, without really thinking it through. Sometimes it gets me into trouble, but, I always say, it’s the honest truth, so I get off the hook :)
- I am the great
pretenderprocrastinator. When I know that the deadline is not until a few days, I won’t do it immediately. I cram a lot, I believe I work best when I know that the deadline is very very near. - My first crush was 5 grades older than me. I was a first grader, and my school bus mate was in 6th grade. I found him cute because he was tall.
- I fall in love easily. But that doesn’t mean I am easy. I’ve fallen in love so many times, but I’ve only been in a relationship five times. Hoping this fifth one is the last.
- I’m done with school next year. I’ll finally be a full time working class citizen next year, that is if I find a good enough job. If not, I’ll try my luck outside the PH.

What are your five favorite musicians to listen to and why?
My musical taste is very diverse. I find myself as eclectic, when it comes to music. I listen to various artists, but to answer your question…
- Coldplay. Most of their songs I can relate to. When I was going through a rough time in my life, their song Fix You really touched me.
- The Black Eyed Peas. Positive music, love it.
- Joss Stone. Her voice is just different, and I like different.
- No Doubt / Gwen Stefani. Girl power!
- Evanescence. Did I mention girl power? Amy Lee’s voice is hauntingly amazing.

What is your worst habit?
I had to really think about this because I don’t observe much… but maybe my worst habit is telling people what to do with their lives without realizing that I am not their mother. Yes, I do this with my closest friends, and to Ryan. But I promised to keep my mouth shut.
I hope I can write something more interesting soon. If you have any questions for me, don’t be shy, ask!
Does anyone want a Holiday post card from me this coming December? Just use my contact form and choose “Get a Holiday Postcard†as the subject. Include your full name and complete address.
I’m off to school tomorrow for my clearance. Ugh.
Anyway, I am going to move answering future questions on my Saturday blog :)

my brother used to do some cross-stitching on his spare time back in high school. it’s wrong to stereotype these kinds of tasks, it’s probably going to send the wrong message to your brother regarding responsibility. well, i guess it won’t hurt to give in to these demands once in a while. as long as he doesn’t make a habit out of it. :)
i’ve been tagged na. pero i`ll do it again kasi yung ginawa ko eh mostly “random things u dont know about me” kinda thing. but i`ll still do this. =] weee! thanks pala. ^_^
hey dre. thanks for the tag but i’ve done it before already. twice even. so doing it for a third time would be.. heh.. so i’ll skip..
gah. school. i feel you! i hate having to wake up early mornings aswell. & my classes starts at 8am everyday.. well, except for mondays where it starts at 10 but still, my body’s used to waking up at round 6.30am like that. i miss the days where i used to be a bum cause i was school-less, so i get to wake up at 2 or 3 at the afternoon. hahah. oh well.. good luck with your clearance. :))
hey sorry i didnt have time to read the rest of your entry earlier… anyway, i remember in 4th grade, we had to stitch, i chose this really small piece that only had 3-4 colors of thread and a gold one (im pretty sure you’re familiar with this one: Mama Mary portrait?) … but yeah, the day it was due, my mom was still finishing it up. HAHAHA. She even brought it to school mintues before my Home Ec (home ec yata or arts, or something) class started… naka frame pa!
But yeah, i do feel sorry for you. And talk to your bro about it.. kasi he MIGHT grow up with that kind of attitude.. not good! ;(

Wow, your brother’s annoying. He should learn how to do his responsibility. Tas project pa. Naku, he didn’t even thank you, huh?
Cross-stitching is not only for girls! :| So boys aren’t excused here.

scart’s last blog post..Farreys Light and a personal note…
i remember doing my cousin’s cross-stitch project. he’s 24 days older than me and during those times i was so into cross-stitching. i didn’t get to finish his project but it was good enough to get him a passing grade. my other cousin, who is 3 weeks younger than me was not able to make her project so my grandma asked me if i won’t mind lending her one of my already finished cross-stitch and i agreed. the teacher found “our” work really good and decided to put them on gallery and we were told that we’d get them back at the end of the school year. the bad news was, it’s gone. the teacher said someone must have taken them. my mom said the teacher prolly took it, plus it had an expensive frame. oh well.
the point is, people should do their projects and not expect someone else to do it for them.
