Base!

Working from home is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I can sleep until 9 in the morning and I don’t have to fight off traffic to and from work. Right now, I don’t see anything negative about it. Since I am just the web designer in an online learning company gives me more time for pleasure than work. I mean, I only do the skeleton work, while the graphics designer, flash animator and programmer populate the websites. So far I have done the English website, with a Simplified and Traditional Chinese versions. I also made a career website and soon, the foundation website.

Besides being the web designer, I also edit the videos that were published in the website. Well, I just had to add Simplified and Traditional Chinese captions to the videos that need translations. I am working with an employee in China with the Simplified Chinese translations and I use this website to convert it to Traditional Chinese. It’s actually quite hard because when I make a mistake, I don’t know where to look. It’s a good thing my boss and Christy1 proof reads the websites.

I love my job!

It’s been 4 days since Pipay passed away. I still miss her and we sometimes pretend to call her name and look for her on the corners of our house. It’s funny how Booboo’s ears shoot up when we call Pipay’s name, then she would act like she’s looking for her, too. :(

Sounds like an awesome job! Working at home beats driving in traffic jams twice every day :(

When I get a full-time job, I want to work from home too! I’m not much of a 9-5 cubicle kind of person.

I’m sorry about your puppy :(

I find it really hard to focus when working from home. But you’re so right about the getting to sleep in and not having to drive. Heh, you don’t even have to get dressed, pjs are just fine.

It looks like it’s fun working at home, eh? I want to have a job that doesn’t require me to travel. Haha. I want to work at home too, but in my case, it looks like it is impossible. Hehe.

Good luck!

I. Envy. You.

My job is 8-5 and I have to take the bus because gas prices are so ridiculous and my commute was getting longer every day. :(

Aww, that is so so sad! :( It must be really painful to lose a puppy, even though it’s been 4 days already. Poor Booboo. :(

You’re working at home? That’s really cool, I’d love to have a job like that! :D

You’re so lucky you like your job! Working from home does sound comfortable, although for me, I need something to get me out of the apartment. I think I’d go crazy if I had to spend all day in it >.<;;
