Blimey! Bloody Hell!
I am not one of those people who lined up to grab the new books of Harry Potter every time one comes out. I didn’t even try to read it until a month ago. Now, I understand why a lot of people is such a fan of J.K. Rowling’s famous book series. I’ve always liked mysteries and magic and everything unreal, but somehow, I overlooked the Harry Potter series.
I got myself eBooks to read on my PSP every night before I sleep, and I end up sleeping really, really late because of it. I have watched the movies, all 5 of them, but I’ve learned a lot and understood what it really is about. It is not at all about the boy who was orphaned by his wizard parents. There are a lot of things going on all thoughout the stories.
I am currently on the 5th book and I couldn’t help but read during the afternoons, too. Now, like all the other HP fans, I can’t wait to see the next movie installment this coming July. I do hope that it complements the book more, because I find that there are a lot of changes that the writers of movies do to make it more appealing to the masses. In my opinion, stick to the original story and don’t leave out small, yet important facts from the books.
P.S. I have read spoilers about the books before I started reading them this year, so I would appreciate non-spoiler comments. Thanks!

It’s great you have found a book series you enjoy. Even though it could feel like everybody already read it and you might feel behind. To be honest I usually like things that aren’t mainstream. So I like to read books that aren’t read by everyone I know at a certain time… that doesn’t mean I won’t read a popular book… just not when everybody else is reading it too, sorta … I guess that didn’t really make any sense. Anyway enjoy the books !!!

I’ve never been a fan of the Harry Potter books. It’s kind of funny because both my mom and husband love them. lol I will say that I think it’s pretty nifty that you’re able to download them to your PSP to read. I had no idea you could do that on a PSP. It’s kind of sad to think that if something like that really catches on that books may disappear altogether. ;)

Nice to hear that you like that book so much! I’ve read every single Harry Potter book and watched all the movies so far, but I’m not really a very big fan. However, it’s great that you like them. (:

I really just can’t get into Harry Potter. I would love to find a series like that to get into though. It’s such a good feeling to finish a book and know that you have another waiting!
Btw, I love this theme- very nice! I’ve been coding sites for years but wordpress themes are still kind of foreign to me beyond tweaking a premade!

I loved the books and we actually went to buy the last one at midnight as I couldn’t wait to find out what happened – the films miss things out so its good to read the books to pick up on the rest =)
I agree with you on the whole make the movie but dont leave out small but important things – i think the last book is going to be over 2 films so as not to miss so much out….

It’s good to hear that you found Harry Potter entertaining and memorable. XD
I had a great time reading the series and rereading the books. So far I’m planning to reread the sixth book again before seeing the movie later this year.
IMO compared to the other books in the series, Order of the Phoneix was the most boring part. Maybe it’s because of Umbridge. Haha. But that book is so important in the series. A lot of things was revealed in that book. One of which is the prophecy. Well, since you’ve already seen the movie, it’s not much of a spoiler. Hehe!
Peace! Happy reading!
