Sometimes, it isn’t so much fun when booking flights to local destinations. It costs less to book flights to other Asian destinations, but we decided to stick to the Philippine islands.

I will be traveling with 5 other persons. Only one of us has been to Coron, so he’s going to be our activity guide.

1st Day : Trek Mt. Tapyas and bathe in the hot springs
2nd Day : Island Hopping from 8am to 5pm
3rd Day : Island Hopping from 8am to 5pm

This trip will cost me a lot, so I will start saving up until May comes. I will make the most of those 3 full days!

Coron Palawan, here I come!

Tonight, my sister and I are going to see Katy Perry perform live at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. We plan to go early so that we can get the best seats. Katy Perry was supposed to have a concert here in 2009 but it was postponed. She does have a big heart because she performed on a benefit concert for Typhoon Ondoy victims in 2009.

I have read good reviews of her concert around Asia, so I am really looking forward to her concert tonight. Yes, this is it!

UPDATE:

We arrived at the venue at 6PM. When we bought the tickets, we were made to believe that our seats are reserved. Arrived at the venue and our section was actually first come, first served. We were lucky to get good enough seats, but it was still too far from the stage.

The concert was supposed to start at 8PM. DJ Skeet Skeet pumped up the crowd at 8, and after 30 minutes, we were made to believe that Katy Perry is next. Well, she was. But she got on stage at 10PM! I was quite disappointed with the organizers of this concert. SMART is one of the major sponsors. No one got on stage and told us what’s going on. The crowd was already booing because of this.

Katy did tweet an apology:

When Katy Perry got on stage, we forgot our anxiety. Her performances were amazing. Her voice sounded really good! She’s also beautiful and quite charming. She wowed all of us with her stunning productions. She also did a quick change during her “Hot and Cold” performance. I found a clip online.

The lucky guy in Manila who got a kiss from Katy Perry is Ivan Dorschner. He’s a local celebrity who hurriedly took off his shirt to get picked by Katy to be on stage.

Although we were quite satisfied with Katy Perry’s concert, my sister and I decided that if another artist comes here, we are going to get VIP tickets. So, Adele, come on over!

I bought a pair of Merrell sandals, Faded Rose.

 I will be bring my Nike Air Bold, too, since we’re going to do a lot of walking. We already have tickets to Universal Studios Singapore, and we’re going to purchase tickets for the Singapore Zoo and the Singapore Flyer, too. Our friends are meeting us there and they are going to bring us to different places in Singapore.

After our trip, expect a lot of blog entries about it! I will be talking about the sights, the food, the everything.

I do have close friends, but unfortunately, the closest one I have migrated to Canada. The other one lives in Laguna, which is about 2 to 3 hours away from me.

Lucky me to have sisters who have their own lives. I thought I was lucky because I have two sisters that should’ve been my best friends by default. I do enjoy their company, but sometimes they make me feel left out. Like today. I wanted to go out and do a little bit of shopping, but when I tried to join them, one of them shut me out. Telling me that I am not invited. It really hurt me a lot that it brought me to tears.

I know I sound pathetic. I do have close friends that are boys, but I can’t count on them with shopping. They’d rather eat out with me and watch movies, but shopping?

I wish Booboo can transform into a real person. Maybe we can go shopping.

I bet a lot of you already know what this is. I only had Lotte’s Pepero Almond and Chocolate when I went to Hong Kong early this year. Since then, I have been looking for this in every grocery I go to. My friend from Hong Kong went home last June and I had him buy 5 boxes. I thought I’d never find this in Manila, but I did! 

I went to the imported section of SM Taytay and found it! Below is the photo of Pepero from Hong Kong:

Of course, it costs more when you buy it here in Manila. It’s Php54/box. In Hong Kong it’s only Php40/box. It’s worth it! Php14 difference without flying to Hong Kong! Some people told me that this can also be found on Korean stores. Maybe it’s much cheaper there, so I’ll have to check it out.

Tonight, my mom and I will go to Smart Araneta Coliseum to watch the American Idol Tour 2011. It’s actually a surprise for my mom. She loves this show and honestly, this year’s top 10 were amazing. I love Haley Reinhart! I can’t wait to see her perform live. I wish she sings Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”. I am also excited to see Casey and Paul. Now, I’m excited!

Grammy winner, Jason Mraz, a.k.a. “Mr. AZ” is coming to Manila for a concert on October 30, 2011 at the Araneta Coliseum. I don’t want to miss this genius, so I am looking for someone to watch this with me! I wonder if the person I asked would text me back, (Did you get my message?).

I just purchased tickets for the American Idol concert next week for my mom, but I am thinking about shelling out money for the Geek in the Pink, so that Life is Wonderful for me.

A lot of Christmas greetings have been tweeted or have been posted as a Facebook status. Most are happy tweets, some are bitter for Christmas. Maybe they didn’t get that Christmas gift they wanted last year…and the year before that.

For me, September marks the countdown for my trip to Singapore!

I have been reading a lot of blogs written be fellow Filipino bloggers about their experiences when they were in Singapore. Here’s a list of the few blogs that I have bookmarked:

My sister has been bugging me to finish our itinerary and September is here so I am really pressured to get this done. I have always been the planner for trips like this. Sometimes, I feel like if this trip doesn’t become as enjoyable as we anticipate, I will be to blame. I do not want that.

A friend of ours is currently on a two-week vacation in Singapore and she shared some tips for our food cravings.

We’re all willing to try new things, so we’re definitely going to try out both local and other cuisine that Singapore has to offer.
