Conquered My Fear
Today, my sister and I went to the dentist. I wanted one of my teeth to be extracted because it broke :( The dentist said that she won’t extract the tooth today, instead she cleaned my teeth and filled up a tooth.
I am terribly scared of being on a dentist’s chair. It started when one of the dentists that I went to, nearly removed the nerves on my gum! Well, not really. Her hand slipped and punctured my gum :( Major ouch! Anyway, this new dentist, I really like. Her hands were really light and I feel that she is really careful with what she’s doing. I sat on the dentist’s chair for an hour, for both the cleaning and the filling. My mouth feels really great. I need to go back next week for my tooth extraction. I am quite scared for that, but since I had a good experience, I think I will be able to handle next week’s tooth extraction.
As for the update on the mishap that happened last Monday, we have reason to believe that the masterminds of the scumbags who broke into our house, live in our neighborhood. It would really hurt us if these speculations are true. The first suspect used to be our school service driver and the other one is the son of my mother’s friend. If they are the contacts of those scumbags, then I can only say that they are sick!
My parents have decided to leave this neighborhood for good. They had a talk last night and decided to sell our property here and move to a better location. I feel sad thinking about it because we’ve been living here for 15 years. It would be hard to adjust to a new neighborhood, but I guess we just have to, for the sake of living in peace. I don’t know when we’re going to move, but of course, you will hear about it.

Ouch! I actually don’t mind going to the dentist… I just hate having to make the time for it :P
Aww… I’m sorry you have to leave but after what happened to your house, it’s probably the best thing you guys can do.

It’s great that you’ve overcome your fear of dentists somewhat! I used to be scared shitless of dentists myself but our current dentist is a really nice guy who’s rather careful with sharp objects in your mouth, what kind of person the dentist is makes a really big difference in your fear for them, I think..
And it’s always hard to move, especially when you feel your ‘roots’ really are at the place you currently live in, but if it’s for the best, I wish all of the good luck you can have with that.

I am terrribly scared of going to my dentist! Dont matter if she’s extra careful. Just the thought of being in that chair is torture. But I gotta do what I gotta do right? Ok lang yan, kaya mo yan!
And about those scumbags, yeah I am pretty sure they live in your neighborhood or atleast close by. It would be even worse if you know who they are. sighhhs. And in my opinion, it’d be better nga talaga if you guys move to a new location.

I hate moving. But, at least it will be for the better.
I’ve never had a problem with the dentist. But, then a dentist had never punctured my gum. Ouch!

My mom’s a dentist and I’m not scared of going into one either. But now I’m a bit disturbed every time I see their dental instruments (e.g. the tooth-plier or whatever they call it) especially the shiny ones, kinda reminds me of the movie “Saw.”
