Disconnected
Update: My internet connection is back to normal. A big change on PLDT myDSL’s side, they called me twice today for feedback. Apparently, they were upgrading some equipment on another town, beside ours, that’s why the internet connection was quite slow. I am so happy now :D
My internet connection has been acting up, and it’s Day 3. Today is better than the first two days, but the internet connection still sucks. I called PLDT myDSL customer service to ask if there are any problems in our area, but according to the customer service representative, they haven’t received any advisory. As usual, the same drill, I have to wait for their feedback after their line testing. I have no idea if the problem is with the modem. The desktop and the laptop is getting the same internet speed, slow.
For more than a year of being subscribe to PLDT myDSL service, I have been pretty much satisfied. I seldom encounter down times, but when I do, their customer service aggravates me. They tell me to try and troubleshoot, but I am not like everyone else. I troubleshoot first before I call customer service. They’re supposed to give me their feedback within 24 hours, but I haven’t received any call yet.
I am hoping that my internet connection will improve soon. NOW!

I’m with PLDT, too, and the customer service sucks. It took a week after we got our DSL connection installed for it to start working. But so far, I’m satisfied with the service. There’s been several instances of down time, sometimes spanning a whole day, but since we’re from the UES, I’ll take what I can get.
