No Spoilers
Ryan and I watched Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Honestly, it was too short for me, at 1 hour and 32 minutes, to be exact. The CGI effects were good, the acting wasn’t bad either. A movie that is made to pass time. I wasn’t wowed, but it was enjoyable and is not a waste of money. Although, I’d be satisfied to see it on DVD.
Comparing the film to the first, this is better. There is more action, but like I said, it was short, so it seems a bit rushed. I have not read the comics, so I am not sure how accurate this film is compared to the print. Ryan filled me in about the characters, like Gallactus and Silver Surfer, where they came from and what they are. He is a big DC and Marvel fan. Overall, the film was just OK. Come to think of it, I can’t really recall any special scenes from the film. Tsk tsk.
She’s OK
My grandma is feeling better now. She’s at her home, relaxing and doing her best to get her strength back. I wonder what my uncles and aunts would say if I bring up the idea of a personal nurse… Would they flip? I also wonder if my mom would give me the look. Hmm… I do want to just blurt it out! Sigh…
yoo.. my gramma was at the hospital about 2 weeks ago. it was her first time being rushed in the hosp… and the fact that i (well most of her family) are away, it was so painful for us. kasi we couldn’t do anything but give her moral support nalang and financial ofcourse. pero sobrang iyak ako ng iyak kasi i haen’t seen her for almost 6 years na and i can’t afford na malaman na may sakit sha. pero nagyon, just like your gramma, nagpapahinga sha at nagpapalakas. buti naman okay na lola mo noh? =]
about the movie, i wanna see it,. kahit na siguro hindi ganon kahaba, i still wanna see it. =]
ahahahay… buti nalang.. so antayin ko naren lang yan sa DVD. Gusto ko panoorin yung Chuck and. nakalimutan ko na.. basta yung kay Adam Sandler!

Everytime I see a commercial for Silver Surfer, I think of that episode of Doug where he has that daydream about being Sidewalk Surfer.

Been planning to see F4 but haven’t had the time yet. Better than the first one? Then it’s good. I liked the first movie.

That sucks that you didn’t really like the movie. I didn’t want to see it in the first place so that makes me feel better haha. I’m hoping that my movie group went to see it yesterday so I don’t have to go.

Did you get to see Stan Lee? His line was longer now than the previous marvel movies. hehehe.
it sucks in the end knowing galactus is just a mere gay CLOUD lolz. So i’m hoping for a Silver Surfer Spin off where the real Galactus will appear…
i think Silver Surfer is the saviour of this Film.. it’s a total borefest without him…
