Well, Booboo gained some weight and I love it. She’s more huggable now. She sleeps like this most of the time on the sofa.

Chris Brown really entertained us all. He’s really an amazing dancer. I loved his Michael Jackson set, where he danced to the groove of Billie Jean, Thriller, and more. Rihanna’s set is equally amazing. Her voice has so much power and she sang a lot of her famous songs. My favorite performances of the night were Chris Brown’s “No Air”, Rihanna’s “Shut Up and Drive, and their finale duet, “Umbrella/Cinderella”.²

The money I paid for the ticket was worth it. My sister, Chicka and Ryan were so lucky. My cousin who works for one of the concert sponsors just gave us two tickets for free. It’s a great thing that the tickets she gave us is the same as ours. Rihanna said they will be back. I hope they do, but on a different venue. Standing and dancing from 6pm to 11pm is not my cup of tea. My legs hurt afterwards, but it was worth the pain. I totally enjoyed the night.

Anyway, I got excited when I learned that the book is turning into a movie. Of course, I have an Edward and Bella imagined in my head. I googled the casting for the movie and voila! I am not 100% sure that they chose the right actors to play the parts of Edward, Bella, Laurent, Rosalie. Especially Rosalie! Isn’t she supposed to be the epitome of beauty? Plus Laurent. Laurent is black? How can a black vampire look PALE???

Okay, so maybe they had to make the movie a little commercialized, but, isn’t the book hype reason enough to find better actors? I am not saying that the actors chosen suck, but, I’ve pictured the characters in my head and somehow, the movie characters didn’t suit the ones in my head. Or maybe, I have a different standard.

I know that a lot of Harry Potter fans were disappointed with how the movies turned out, so I am bracing myself for the Twilight Saga movies. I know I am bound to find something wrong with it, like a scene that shouldn’t be there, or a changed setting. I wonder if they will change how Breaking Dawn panned out. I mean, that final book was dragging and did not meet my expectations. However, I will still watch the movies but treat them as adaptations. I don’t want to disappoint myself if the movie is not as accurate. Honestly, I did enjoy the HP movies, just because I’ve never read a single book. I am really hoping that the movie won’t suck, but, it really, really might suck. There, I said it. Again. Twilight: The Movie might suck. Bowls and bowls of suckage.

Although I was happy to receive my planner, I am quite disappointed that it wasn’t wrapped carefully. It just came with a plastic sheet, and if you’ve noticed, there are some dents on the corner and at the back, too. There is also a visible line in the middle which shouldn’t be there.

Anyway, I will discuss the good parts of the Belle de Jour 2009 Planner. I’ve always been an observant and I see things, even the tiniest speck of things, I notice. It seems like a sickness to me because then I can’t concentrate on the bigger picture, which leads to more complications.

You can guess that my life is really complicated at the moment. I don’t know what I feel, or if I feel anything at all. PAIN, mostly. I am trying my best not to slip into depression. I’ve put on my gameface. The only one who would put an end to this refuses to do anything. His own words, It’s not gonna happen. Which puts watery liquid in my eyes that involuntarily trickles down my cheeks.

Yes, I am still the most complicated person I know. The most complicated and sad person I know.

We had potluck there were lots of food on the table. After a while, I noticed that we’ve been divided into groups. Each group is enjoying different topics of conversation. I was busy snapping photos, using my cousin’s camera. My camera’s battery died. Too bad.

I shared a funny conversation with my grandmother before we left for home.

Me: Apo, we’re going home. It’s 8pm already and we have work and classes to go to tomorrow.
Grandma: What? You should go home at 10pm!
Me: Apo, it’s Monday tomorrow.
Grandma: Huh? What day is today?
Me: Sunday.
Grandma: Oh? Really?
Me: Besides, my kids are waiting at home. Two are locked up, while the other one is roaming around.
Grandma: You have kids??! When did you get married? Nobody told me?!
(My mom and sisters joined in the conversation by laughing really loud)
Me: Well, I have no husband yet. Just kids.
Grandma: Are you kidding me? *insert cuss words here*
(All of us were laughing so hard)
Me: Well, there’s Jasper and Kali. They’re both locked up. Booboo is roaming around.
Grandma: Call your daddy.
My mom: She’s kidding. Those are dogs!
(My grandma still didn’t get it after 5 more sentences telling her that I am referring to my dogs) *lol*

In the end, she said: “You shouldn’t get married right away. How old are you? 25? Yes, you shouldn’t get married yet.”

I am the favorite grandkid. Well, I am not a kid anymore, but I am still her favorite. I didn’t have to say anything, they just see how my grandma treats me. I love her so much. She’s 93 and I hope she still got more years to be with us.
