Heath Ledger, Dead (1979 – 2008)
Heath Ledger, a 28-year-old Australian actor, was found dead by his masseuse at his Manhattan apartment today, at 3:26PM EST. He was known for his roles as the rebel teen in 10 Things I Hate About You, a knight in A Knight’s Tale and his controversial roles as a homosexual cowboy in Brokeback Mountain.
According to reports, he died due to a sleeping pill overdose, that was found beside his bed. Police hasn’t confirmed yet if this is accidental or is suicide, but they ruled out foul play.
I took it as a very sad news. A friend of mine just sent me an SMS this morning to let me know what happened. I was shocked, of course, because I find him as a good actor. He was set to play the role of Joker for the upcoming movie “The Dark Knight“, a sequel from the movie, Batman Begins.

i was so sad when i heard about his death in the local news. i guessed he was OD but i was not sure if it was drugs. so it was sleeping pills? hmm.. and i also thought it was a housekeeper that found him. ang gulo. hehehe.. sayang, he’s a good actor pa naman. he’s joker pala? i saw the trailer last friday. i was trying to guess who it was. hindi ko sya nakilala. hay. sayang naman.

I’m not sure if I got it right but the ABC news item said post-production na daw yung Batman so we can still see him as Joker… if that’s true, di nya ma-eenjoy yung fruits ng labor nya… sayang talaga… I noticed him sa The Patriot… Accordingly, he was a standout during the audition for the role… Mel Gibson said so… Anyway, saw your site kina Jays, Ate Val, etc… care to link exchange?

I wonder what Michelle thinks now. They’re divorced but I think they’re still in good terms, you know.. and they have a baby together.
Anyway, I think they finished filming Joker… I saw posters around the cinema already, so it may be that it’s either on post-production already, or jsut waiting to be played.

hmm hindi ako masyado affected (panget kasi sya hehehe jk lang) dahil hindi naman sya ganun kasikat sa Brokeback Mountain ko lang nga sya nakilala eh. pero sayang natapos pa naman nya yung sequel ng batman. sana baka after non mas lalo gumanda ang mga offers sa kanya. hay tao nga naman de mo malaman kung ano mga nasa isip…
