Last Monday, Ryan and I watched National Treasure: Book of Secrets, after that, we went to the department store and bought myself 3 pairs of socks. I don’t really need new socks, but the socks that I’ve been wearing with my chucks makes my feet uncomfortable, leaving the smallest toe hurting. You know that part of the socks where the stitching is? That’s where it hurts. So anyway, while at the departments store, it took me about 20 minutes to choose which brand of socks to buy. Mind you, there were a lot. Unfortunately, there weren’t any sock available that doesn’t have the stitching near the toes. The saleslady suggested Puma socks, and it’s actually much cheaper than the other brands. Some socks are $4 a pair, I got 3 pairs for the same price from Puma. I wasn’t really sure that these pairs would really be comfortable with my chucks, so I wore one pair the next day. I was really happy that it’s the best pair of socks to go with my chucks! Okay, so I am not really going to talk about “just my socks” for this entry.
Entrecard
Anyway, my blog is currently featured at NSpeaks, well only for a day. Like I said before, Entrecard works for me. It let’s you link to other websites without the slight hassle of emailing the web owner. Anyway, I got the featured spot at NSpeaks because I paid him 25ec. Hey, it gets me free traffic, so why not? I’ve also joined some social bookmarking websites. I’ve actually stumbled upon a lot of good links at Furl and Blink.
Birthday
Lastly, it’s my sister’s birthday on the 23rd. I got her the latest Avril Lavigne CD, with an included DVD with Avril’s music videos and live performances. We had to celebrate early because she stays at her dorm on school days. We had pizza and pasta at Shakey’s. I also ordered Super Shake, vanilla flavor, yummy! Too bad not all of us were there to celebrate. My sister went out with her boyfriend and decided to be with him than celebrate with us. Bummer.
It’s The March
Two of the coolest bands are coming to Manila for a concert. Incubus
and Maroon 5. Ryan and I will be at the Maroon 5 concert. When I checked out the ticket reservations, the VIP tickets is at Php10500 which is equivalent to almost $260! So we’re going to settle for the 4th best seating at about $96. I’ve invited some of our friends to watch it with us, and two already agreed. Cool.
I’d LOVE to see a Marron 5 concert. I love them! They just have such good music.
And I prefer socks that don’t have big thick stitching either. I like socks that have some more stretch to them so that the stitching doesn’t “stick out” from the rest of my foot.
There are lots of social bookmarking sites but so little time. :(
