Met His Dad
I rode the bus on my way to Greenhills. I was feeling a bit nervous because I am running late due to the unexpected traffic in front of La Salle Greenhills. Apparently, there was a thanksgiving mass organized by the former president of the Philippines, Corazon Aquino. I even saw Pen Medina, one of the best veteran actors locally.
Anyway, I arrived at Greenhills after 30 minutes. I waited for Ryan and his dad to meet me. They were looking to buy the new iPod Nano. His dad gave me a warm greeting by giving me a quick hug and peck on the cheek. That made me feel good. All my nervousness went away. We’re about to eat lunch and his dad let me choose the restaurant. I said I wanted to eat Pasta, then Ryan suggested Italiannis. It’s been a while since I ate at that place. Their food is really good.
We ordered Pepperoni Pizza and their Classic Carbonara, but the waiter made a mistake, and added a Classic Pizza. We all got confused because when the waiter repeated the order, I corrected him when he said Classic Pizza, I said Classic Carbonara. His dad didn’t make a big fuzz about it, but he expressed how disappointed he was of the service by telling the waiter to write orders next time so he won’t make a mistake. Anyway, the food was great. We exchanged different stories and we had a good time.
After lunch, we headed inside the mall and bought the 8GB iPod Nano his dad was eying. He got a good deal and got the gadget at a much lower price. It also came with lots of movies and music, too. We headed to another mall to watch a movie. We all decided to see Jumper. After the movie, we headed to Ryan’s house to bring his dad home. Ryan brought me home after that. He stayed here for about an hour, then he went home to rest.
His dad invited me for another Sunday afternoon. So next Sunday would be karaoke day. I am so glad that his dad is very accommodating. He made me feel at ease. I can now see where Ryan got this kind of attitude. It is from his dad. :)
Read my movie review on Jumper.
Oh, and Jake’s website, the winner of my domain and hosting contest, is up and running.

Hihihi… ako yung twin lang ni Jake ang nami-meet ko. Feeling ko never ko mami-meet yung parents nya and sister.. divorced and with new families na yung parents nila… ewan.. hehe.. ayoko din eh, nahihiya ako. LOL! Ay bali yung twin nya and yung bestfriend.. yun pala.. yun ang family nya. HAHAHA. Syempre close sya sa mom nya pero kasi diba, may new family na, so parang nakakahiya naman. Yun lang.

Aww, thats so sweet. I can only imagine how awkward it would be if I were to meet any of the parents of the guys I’ve been with. Their sons were all such brats, I can see older, married versions of brat like sons. Haha, I am probably so wrong about them anyway! haha

Was this the first time you met his dad? Whether or not it was it sounds like you enjoyed yourself, and thats always good.
Yeah, I don’t like to share much information about my love life especially online. =/

Ryan’s Dad sounds really sweet! I’m always super nervous about meeting the parents, it hasn’t gone right so far.
I haven’t seen Jumper yet. The trailers haven’t really convinced me and so I’m not sure whether to go or not. It sounds like you had a really nice time though. :]
I hate when waiters take your order wrong, especially on pizza! I once ordered a margherita and got a spicy meat pizza (not good for a vegetarian, right?) Haha.
