My BDJ 2009 Planner
Today, I finally received my Belle de Jour 2009 Planner. I’ve been waiting for it for weeks. I got mine from I Love Belle de Jour but you can order from other online stores, as well.
Although I was happy to receive my planner, I am quite disappointed that it wasn’t wrapped carefully. It just came with a plastic sheet, and if you’ve noticed, there are some dents on the corner and at the back, too. There is also a visible line in the middle which shouldn’t be there.

Anyway, I will discuss the good parts of the Belle de Jour 2009 Planner. First, it came with a “Forget-Me-Not” Emergency Notepad, where you can write notes or something important that you shouldn’t forget while your on-the-go. I also got a Philosophy by Mikaela discount card. It offers the following:
- 5% discount on all services
- 10% discount on hair care therapy
- Earn points for credits and chance to get free cash vouchers
- Free haircut & hair therapy on cardholders birthday (too bad my birthday is on December!)
The salon is located at Penthouse Level, 832 A. Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City.
Of course, when 2009 hits, you have to write your goals, which so often, doesn’t go as planned for me. I suck at planning goals. I just do things on a whim, sometimes. Sad, isn’t it?
I love that it has a “menstrual tracker”, because honestly, I don’t count. I just wait for the signs and I know it’s coming. This will come in handy since I’ve had experiences where I am not prepared and I am out of the house.
There are different articles for each month to empower ladies that provide beauty tips and life advices. It does come with a lifestyle directory, too. Why?
It came with discount coupons! Loads of them. Plus, the really cool illustrations for each month of the year 2009. The theme this year is the 60s.
I guess, I won’t be needing that Starbucks Planner, after all. :D
Update: They offered a replacement for the planner. Yay!

Parang gusto ko naring bumili nung planner, looks really nice though sabi mo nga sayang at pangit yung packaging niya hehe, pero super nice naman eh.

looks interesting. it makes me want to get one because of all the things inside :) however, i’m more of a P30.00 spring notebook kind of girl, where I usually end up writing everything from schedules to classroom discussions to poetry and even doodles from other friends. the menstrual tracker part is wonderful. i’d like that. haha.

wow meron ka na pala nyan Dre, alam ko kahit last year nagooffer sila ng replacement kapag may mali sa planner. mas maganda pa nga talaga ang BDJ planner kaysa sa starbucks =D like ko din ung menstrual tracker kasi sa cellphone calendar lang ako nagbibilang at naglalagay ng notes.

Sis, i would like to ask about dun sa mikaela card… Bumili kc ako ng 2 planner pero wala na daw nyang mikaela card. sa mga first na nagpurchase lang daw yan, is that true??? so it mean na parang limited lang yang card??? but ok lang naman sakin, natanong ko lang.. as long as na merong coupons ok lang, hehe…

I am not sure about that, if the card is for first time buyers only, all I know is that it was included on my order – via http://ilovebelledejour.multiply.com/ – I was included in the first 100 buyers.
