NO Access!
It sucks that my computer died on me again. It’s all because of the rain last week. After I turned off the computer and the television when it started raining last week, I prepared food for my brother. Then a loud thunder struck, my dog even jumped 6 feet away from where she was! The surge protector was still on, when that happened. After the rain, I tried to turn on the computer because I had to do some school work, but it would not turn on. The TV is also dead.
I panicked because the video I was working on is due 2 days from that day and I wasn’t even half way done. I called Ryan and told him what I should do. I checked the inside of my computer and tried to smell if it’s burnt, but it wasn’t. Ryan offered his laptop so I can finish my school work. It was really sweet of him to come over the next day even if he was tired from work. I know he missed playing with his games, but he still let me use his laptop for 3 days.
Today, we brought the tower to a computer shop, because we thought that it’s only the power supply that is causing the problem, but when they tested it, the technician said that it could be the motherboard as well. This totally sucks! I mean, I need the computer for school and I don’t have anything to use. Right now, I am using my sister’s friend’s laptop. She asked me to reformat it because it has been infected by a lot of virus. She will pick up the computer tomorrow. I am still downloading the software that she needs. She only has a CD drive, and all my applications are on DVD-Rs so I have to download everything.
I don’t know when we’ll get the computer fixed. A new motherboard will take so much from our monthly budget, and I don’t have any means of income right now, so I am in deep ****. I still have a month and a half to spend in school, and no computer access at home is a big disaster!
I watched Hairspray last Friday with my friends, Lexie and Melai, and Ryan. It was a feel good movie and you should watch it with your girlfriends. It was funny seeing Ryan cringe on most of the scenes, specially when John Travolta, playing the mother, is there. Travolta did a very good job. I just have some issues with the love angle on Link and Tracy. I think that they don’t have chemistry. On some scenes, it seems like Zac Efron doesn’t want to look at Nikki. But in totality, the movie is good to watch if you want to feel good. The dancing and the singing was good, too.
I’ve been wanting to go to the Caribbean and take a cruise then check out the Caribbean villa rentals, I bet that I’d have so much fun than this!

I hope you get your computer fixed. I guess the safest thing to do next time is to turn off and unplug your pc when there’s lighting. Just to be sure.
Yeah, learned my lesson well. I miss my own computer!
aww motherboard. Ung power supply din ng cpu namin, namatay na rin, we had to burn 1,300 to replace it. *hugs pc* :p
The mobo would be around 3k, if it’s just the mobo…. waahh!

That sucks about your computer. But it was sweet of Ryan to let you borrow his so you could finish your work. That’s horrible that you don’t have a computer to use. Maybe if there is a public computer lab at your school you could use it to work on your school stuff?
I haven’t seen the new Hairspray even though I’ve been told that it’s good. I just adored the old one so much. I guess I’m glad that they remade it, but the old one was so good… I didn’t feel that they needed too. I’m glad you liked it though. :) Good luck.

yeah, doesn’t it suck? i hate it when my computer dies on me. sepcailly when i have to do lots of homework or something like that… recently i’ve been connecting to SOMEONE ELSE’s internet cuz mine’s messed up for some reason, and to have an internet person come over to fix it takes weeks! it’s really frustrating cuz the connection’s real slow. uh-oh im babbling. =]
been wanting to see hairspray pero i think it’s corny, im not into musical movies kasi eh. but im glad u liked it!
