No More Edward or Bella

When I started to read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer by mid August, I entered another world. That usually happens to me when I read books. I always imagine myself to be part of the scenery. I was there when Bella Swan saw Edward for the first time. I saw how he looked at Edward Cullen and his family during lunch time and Biology class. I felt Bella’s confusion when she was saved from being sandwiched between her truck and Tyler’s van. I was there when the lion fell in love with the lamb…

I guess, you can say that I was hooked from the very beginning. Now, all I have are memories of their irrevocable love, along the lines of so many ruckus in the middle. Sigh… I sound so pathetic, but, this is how I feel. This is a sad day for me. I finally finished all four books from the Twilight Saga: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. There is another book to look forward to, Midnight Sun. It is Edward’s point of view of the book, Twilight.

I am hoping for at least two more books from this saga. It seems to short for me. I mean, if Harry Potter can have 7 books of different plots and adventure, why can’t Edward and Bella have those, too? In the end, it is not just Edward and Bella. (don’t read the next sentence of this paragraph if you haven’t read all books, just continue onto the paragraph after this) The story continues with Jacob Black and Reneesme Carlie Cullen. I would’ve loved to read what happens after 7 years, when Nessie becomes an adult half-human-half-vampire in Jacob’s arms. It would be interesting to have the book on Nessie’s POV. I think Stephenie Meyer, the author, should look into that.

All the chagrins, being dazzled and ostentatious… and seeing through Edward’s Topaz eyes and Bella’s deep browns… The saga is over. Done. Fin. This is truly a sad day for me… as silly as that may be.

Well, I look forward to the movie, Twilight. I hope I’ll see three more. I would rather that, than Harry Potter. :D

There’s a possibility of another one in Edward’s POV. The first chapter is up on Stephenie Meyer’s website.

Yep, there is, Midnight Sun. But I hope she does more. Too bad Midnight Sun was leaked and now Stephenie is hesitant to continue writing at the moment.

Hey, been awhile since I’ve commented. ;)

I’ve heard a lot about this series but I’ve never actually picked it up. I know it’s vampire-esque and I always hold anything related to vampires up to the standard set by Buffy so I’m not sure how well it would go over with me… I guess I’ll have to pick it up sometime!

Oooh. Spoilers. Spoilers. Eeee! I can’t wait to reach Breaking Dawn. I’ve been reading the Twilight series for three days already and I’ve only reached the end of New Moon last night. Uuugh. This is addiction.

Btw, yeah, I’ve seen GG already. O_O Like, omg talaga.

i actually enjoyed the series. even if i don’t usually read books that are similar to them. bella came close to being too painfully martyr for my taste, though, constantly apologizing for one thing or another.
