Random Everything

Life for me has been very busy. I am so stressed out from school and last week, I started to get sick. I was able to go to school for 2 days, accompanied Ryan to buy a laptop, and attended the acquaintance party for school. The next day, the slight fever became a full blown can’t-get-out-of-bed fever. All I wanted was to sleep all day.

On Wednesday, my cousin and her family from Japan went for a visit. We just hang out at my aunt’s place for the whole afternoon, and went to the mall for an hour to buy some clothes. Clothes here are much cheaper than what my niece buys online. They are on the beach now, basking on the white sand of Boracay. I wanted to go, too, but I have school. My niece was having problems with her hairy legs, so I told her to check out Washington DC laser hair removal, since they plan to visit her sister in the US by the end of August. They get back here in Manila on Saturday, then fly back to Japan on Sunday. It was a short visit, but I believe they will come back in December or some time next year.

I took my cousin’s DVD writer. Technically, it’s mine, because he sold it to me, but I haven’t paid yet. It’s a really good thing, since I can backup my files easily because I can put them on DVD. I want to reformat my computer, both hard drives should be wiped out clean. I also want to write my applications softwares on DVD.

I still feel sick. I am also suffering from windburn. According to Wiki, it is a skin burn condition where wind removes the top layer of oil from the skin. The lack of oil causes excessive dryness of the skin, leading to redness and a burning feeling. It really hurts a lot. I can’t see the redness in my skin, but I do feel the burning feeling. I put moisturizer on my face last night, but it just lessened the pain. Before I went to bed, I put on petroleum jelly, which really helped until late this afternoon, but now, it’s back and the jelly is not working. My face is covered with a big scarf right now, to avoid air from blowing on my face.

I really do hate this weird weather. The day starts with the sun burning hot and bright until the early afternoon. Come 3:00pm, the rain starts to fall and that causes humidity, which I truly hate so much. I know that this is the cause of the windburn on my face. I just wish this goes away because it really makes me extra cranky. Argh!

Josh Hartnett arrived in the Philippines yesterday. I wish I knew! I used to have a major crush on him when I was in high school. He’s said to be shooting the film “I Come With The Rain” and it will be shot in the Philippines, particularly in Mt. Diwalwal in Davao. His arrival was quiet, according to the local news. He wasn’t accompanied by any bodyguards, he was just escorted by a personnel from NAIA. The media wasn’t allowed to come up and talk to him when he arrived at the airport in Davao, standard protocol, they say. Whatever! I would’ve been cool if he said a word or two on camera for the Filipinos.

I was thinking of replacing this layout, but, I haven’t gotten around to finishing anything that I’ve started. It’s not summer here anymore, but I guess it is on the other side of the earth.

Aww, I love the beach! :D
Ah, I just reformatted my computer yesterday. It’s spanking clean now. :D Though, I’m still in the process of installing all my programs again, lol.
Hope your face gets better!

ouch! windburn doesn’t sound fun. I had my share of sunburn a few weeks back, and it was a nightmare.

The weather has been like that here too, it’s hot, it rains, and then it gets humid. ew.

I hope you’re feeling well again. I take Vitamin-C whenever I feel like I’m coming down with something. It works!

I’ve never heard of windburn before, but it doesn’t sound pleasant. I have to use a rather harsh acne cream on my face, though, and that makes my skin burn. I think I feel your pain… maybe.

That’s awesome that Josh Hartnett is filming there right now. I live in a really small beach town on the coast of Washington State (USA) and we occasionally get movie crews here. Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher were here for the movie “The Guardian” a year or two ago. We had another movie crew here more recently, but for the life of me I can’t remember who it was now.

Sickness is bad :( it’s the wrong season for it too!

I need to reformat my computer but have no where to backup everything! It would take a lot of discs to backup everything I have – I might buy a cheap external drive… I need one anyway (sort of!).

I had a major crush on Josh too a few years back, he’s still nice on the eyes these days too.

I’ve said before…. I love this layout! Nice and bright and yes it’s still summer where I live so keep it up for awhile longer!

oh tell me about busyness and sickness. first my bro got sick then my nephew caught it, i caught it then germs spread to everyone. it’s constant headache and constant coughing. it sucks. then at work, it’s busy as usual. but for some reason i find time to procrastinate on things. hey i hope you feel better. and uh, josh hartnett is a total hottie. and yeah, it would have been cool if he let in some reporters, right? oh well. =]

Ouch, windburn sounds awful. I’ve heard unscented baby lotion can help soothe it, along with only using a mild soap when you wash your face. Hopefully it’ll heal up soon.

Josh Hartnett used to be so cuuute. Still is, although I really don’t like facial hair on him. Haha.

There used to be lots of people who were obsessed with Josh, as if he was the only “teen hottie” out there years ago, LOL. :) Now we’ve got more choices, hehe.
Feel better, by the way!
