Renaldo Lapuz, The Next Idol
When I got home last night, everyone was watching American Idol, and since I am a fan of the show, I sat on the couch and joined in the fun. I know for a fact that Filipinos are very talented in any field. One of our strong areas is singing. We all know about Charice Pempengco and her youtube fame on the Ellen Degeneres show, and now, here’s another one who can make a mark.
Behold, Renaldo Lapuz. Fine, this is a really funny clip, but, let’s admit it, his own composition is infectious! I can’t get it out of my head since I last heard it. “I am your brother, we’re best friends forever!” I bet if you heard it, you will agree with me.
The three judges, especially Simon, actually liked him. Obviously, he got a “No”, but like any Filipino, he took it gracefully. He didn’t have any hard feelings about it. He even thanked Simon for letting him sing.

hahahha that guy is so funny! sabi ko na sisikat yan hehehe
pinakagusto ko lang sa AI is yung “best of the best” LOL kapag audition time na pero after that I dont watch american idol na. hindi naman kasi ako mahilig kumanta pwera nalang kung may rockers na contestant like Chris before :D

I have never really watched American Idol before, but some of my friends have. They said that there are some pretty interesting participants on there! Maybe I will watch it some time, if I have the time..
